The toughest thing for Seattle to defend will be when Denver puts their wrs in bunch formations to get wrs off press coverage. Indy was successful doing this too...

when has Peyton pride kept him from trying to make the right play tho?
if he dont see the favorable window for a pass on a guy Sherman covering he's not throwing that
we'll see

think about that statement for a second breh... :heh:

I thought about that statement, but not every WR in history that's has been great or a top guy had a Montana level QB throwing to them. There has been some that had a mediocre QB throwing to them but they succeeding in spite of.

I've seen peeps call Palmer garbage and ain't been shyt since USC, well the Chad Johnson can be an example

Its going to be a good match up between Thomas and Sherm but I do see Sherm getting a pick at some point. Talib more than held his own, so I don't see why Sherm can't do that same

I definitely see what you're saying, there has to be a few WR's out there who were still putting up great numbers even with a mediocre/bad QB but I think in the scheme of QB's Virgin fagboy is one of the worst QB's of all time in terms of passing ability. And Orton is a career backup QB :manny:

Thomas might have improved but I think it's a combination of improving, being confident in your QB and how smoothly Peyton runs an offense. I mean could you imagine catching 7 yard passes from tim fukking tebow all game

He's done it before. But honestly it takes more skill to have to prep for multiple wrs than just one guy.

I'm not even knocking Sherman. I like Sherman, but the poll question is framing it like Sherman's gonna shadow Thomas and prevent him from doing anything. I don't see it going down like that when he didn't shadow the best wide receiver y'all faced all year (in an offense with no other team wr threats) in Andre Johnson...and Dre went off.

I agree. Denver has too many weapons and Peyton isn't dependent on just one wr. Maxwell and Sherm will play their sides.

Denver has too many weapons and your secondary is too good outside of Sherman...No need to get in that pissing contest

Uncertain grounds
peyton isnt going to take too many chances regardless. hes going to play it relatively safe and i dont think hes going to view any of the defenders necessarily different. hes going to look for windows to throw in and for who is open. chances are it wont be on sherman and chances are it wont be a deep ball, unless hes trying to draw a flag or has a free play.

Folk really downplaying Sherman. I can't stand him but he's an elite corner. If Peyton tries to throw at him....good luck.
