When the Falcons had a good secondary, we fukked Peyton up. I don't like Peyton's chances, those ducks he likes to throw will be INT's v. the Seahawks.
It was the second game of the season with him being on a new team. Plus no Thomas or Welker.

I watched both players over their careers. I seen my talented Falcons WR's v. them. Sherman was better. Better all around. Better ball skills. More physical. Revis can stick to you better but Sherman recovers much better. Revis in his prime was one of the best corners I seen but Sherman can be GREAT.

I prefer prime Nnamdi over Revis but Sherman is better than both talent wise. He can play elite zone and man coverage. That's his biggest strength with his Football IQ, recovery skills, size, length, and ball skills.
You dont know shyt..

You sound ridiculous..

Dude said "prime" Nnamdi..

It was great coverage more than anything. Kaep threw a great ball. It would have been completed on most CB's not named Sherman. If threw it higher, it either would have gone OOB or Sherman would have still tipped it. Kaep tried the wrong nikka.

Why is it always a substandard terrible poster telling a great poster he doesn't know shyt. Do you even watch the Seahawks? You probably don't which is why you are talking out of your ass.

I see a healthy Revis is still being criminally underrated :snoop:

People like the debate to be more exciting than it is. There's still tons of ways to attack Sherman. Off top he isn't good with quick inside routes. If I was Denver I'd put Wes out there and Demaryius in the slot. Wes is quick, fast, and stout. They could just throw hitches and force Sherm to tackle Wes. I wouldn't even test Revis with that before his knee went.

Wes wouldn't get off the LOS in that case. The Rams used to try this with Amendola and failed to epic levels. Not comparing the two in terms of talent but slot guys on Sherman doesn't quite work and the LB core of Seattle is plenty fast as well not to mention, they can really cover well.

Sherman is the only player in the last 10 years outside of Charles Woodson more a couple of years to where he is just complete overall as a CB. He can play numerous zone, man, defend the slot, play the hover but he's elite at most of it. The closest we have seen like that was Woodson and even then, he had his limitations.

Yeah, Sherman maybe the best corner right now but he's not on the level that Revis was that 3 year stretch with the Jets

Wait, so Sherman is a "lock down the team's best receiver" kind of guy now? :patrice:

I see what you saying... Sherman is good, but I think people have forgotten how good Browner is and that he's suspended so the ball is not going to go at Sherman as much now since there's a backup (a good one though) on the other side.

I'm kind of intrigued by the op myself :ohhh:

Sherman has better CB stats than Revis in his last two years. His season this year was better than any Revis year. He was only thrown to 58 times and still led the league in INT. Revis was thrown to 69 times in his best season. Every year, he has been challenge more than Sherman in his career than Richard this year.
Revis was overrated by NY media. He was an excellent CB but him and Nnamdi wasn't all time greats. Sherman can be an all time great.

Maxwell has been more consistent than Browner. Browner physicality was his best trait. He was a damn monster at times for Seattle. Maxwell is more discipline and sound in technique. One of my favorite young CB's in the game.
