Sherman has better CB stats than Revis in his last two years. His season this year was better than any Revis year. He was only thrown to 58 times and still led the league in INT. Revis was thrown to 69 times in his best season. Every year, he has been challenge more than Sherman in his career than Richard this year.
Revis was overrated by NY media. He was an excellent CB but him and Nnamdi wasn't all time greats. Sherman can be an all time great.

that's a fukking lie, no CB has come close to Revis 2009 season since he's been in the league

How is Sherman against double moves? I think they should test him on that, IF, and it's a big if, Peyton has enough time in the pocket.

Also, see if you can get him mis-matched in the slot with Welker. Welker is gonna catch a few quick passes regardless of who is against him.

Or if Sherman is outside, run a sideline wheel route with the slot man and see if you can cause some confusion

Remember when the Colts (when Peyton was there) kicked to Devin Hester to start the Superbowl because they were sick of the hype and he ran that shyt right into the endzone.

look at the stats tho :dwillhuh:

Stats tell me the first lie is Revis in 2010 was thrown at 57 times. One less than Sherman this year

Stats also tell me in 2009 Revis was thrown at 111 times and allowed 41 receptions which is a ridiculous 37% completion percentage. He had 23 passes defended and 7 INT. QBs had a 29.1 QB rating throwing at him, playoffs included

Sherm this year allowed 30 receptions, that is 18 less in 58 less target. That's good for a 50% completion percentage when throwing his way. He had one more interception. QBs have 44 QB rating throwing at him, playoffs included

Both had 2 pick six

If you wanna play the targets game Revis allowed 22 receptions the next year (2010) on 57 fukking targets

Sherman is not touching Revis in his prime, yet

Denver will open up the passing game by having Moreno rush a lot in the beginning. A playaction or 2 will have that secondary off-guard.

The king will outshine Sherman.

I think he's gonna go at Sherm early, just to shut him up and get DT involved. Also if it doesn't work, he finds out early, and not late with the game on the line.

Peyton himself said it. He said they all week they discussed kicking the ball away from Hester and that was the plan and then right before the game started they basically decided (obviously paraphrasing), "fukk this, we're not going to be scared of one player" and then Hester ran it right back at them, and they didn't kick it to him again.

Even if this is true, it says literally nothing about Peyton Manning or the Denver Broncos or their approach to attacking the Seattle defense.
