Is Phoenix AZ a good place to live??

Anyone who post on here from Phoenix? I need some insight brehs. Thinking of moving to Phoenix next month

-How is the weather?
I heard shyt be unbearable in the summer, like 120 deg in the shade


-Is the social life good, is there shyt to do? Clubs, bars, social gatherings

-How's the rent? I hear shyt is cheap as hell. Coming from NYC, where the rent is someone's mortage in another state

-And most importantly, would I need to use a car 24/7. Is it a walkable city? Hopefully I wont have to travel 15 miles just to go to the grocery store

I would recommend against it.


Maybe if I was retiring, but I wouldn't move here as a young 20-30 something year old. There's little-to-nothing to do, especially in the summertime. From May - October, it's unbearably hot outside. November-April is nice tho.

Cost of living is cheap as fukk. You could find a 2000 sq ft house for under 300k. Rent would be less than $1200 for anything you could desire.

Edit: It's not a walkable city at all. We barely just got our first light-rail a few years back.

Like BlvdBrawler already hit you with, May-October is fukking chastising.All the sports teams are cursed.The females are easy, though.They love to jock a nikka from outta state.If you're a PAWG lover, AZ might be your dream spot.Just hang out in the Tempe/ASU/Mill Ave area...you'll be feasting out there


It depends where you go.I like Scottsdale.Just don't fukk with those 19th Ave and Southern/Buckeye areas.

Mexicans got heavy influence, to.You know how in other states you have white people who try to act black? well, in AZ, you have whites who try to act Mexican.

But don't get me wrong, it's heavy on the wigga's to.


If you're ready to settle down and raise a family, I'd say hell yeah.Take your ass to Chandler or something.
