Great post though

You said the single bachelor life ain't that great
But you said the girls love an out of state nikka and are easy. Wouldn't that be a pretty good setting for a bachelor?
:ld:

That's AZ for you. It's strange and weary, breh. It's hard to explain that place, you have to see it for yourself.

Beyond the ho's, there's probably nothing else to keep you interested.Once you're done with the fukk fest, you'll more than likely be ready to skip out

Ohhhh now I get you, yeah that would suck after a while
So is it like the city isn't that vibrant and everyone stays at home in their house? :skip:

Phoenix NORTH of Deer Valley Rd/101 is OK.

Avoid the southern/southeastern areas to live in... (South Mountain Tempe, Mesa, etc. :scusthov:)

Southwestern (Avondale, etc., not too bad)

Scottsdale/Klansdale not bad...

A Black man doesn't have to own SHOES and can have a white woman take care of him.

Here's a good site (if you're 30+)
http://www.phxsoul.com

Intel, Chubb, Henkel, Paypal are there...

Local radio SUCKS... EXCEPT Carmen's prank calls

Every other song is Drake...

Not the brightest people...

Overall, not too bad...

I've never lived in Phoenix or Arizona, but I will say you have to be careful when a haboob passes by. A haboob is a big sandstorm.

Anyone who post on here from Phoenix? I need some insight brehs. Thinking of moving to Phoenix next month

-How is the weather?
I heard shyt be unbearable in the summer, like 120 deg in the shade :whew:

-Is the social life good, is there shyt to do? Clubs, bars, social gatherings:dj2:

-How's the rent? I hear shyt is cheap as hell. Coming from NYC, where the rent is someone's mortage in another state :ld:

-And most importantly, would I need to use a car 24/7. Is it a walkable city? Hopefully I wont have to travel 15 miles just to go to the grocery store :patrice:
I hate the summer so the "summer" months in AZ were almost unbearable to me. However, if you love the heat then its dry heat so you not sweating up a storm. Its driving distance to Vegas and LA so thats another plus. They have a pretty good club scene, I lived there almost 5 yrs ago so I can imagine the city has gotten better restaurants, club etc since then. You definitely need a car. They do have public transportation but I never used it and I doubt that it runs all night. They were building a light rail system when I left so that should help. I didnt rent but the rent is reasonable there.

Do Coyotes run wild there brehs? :lupe:
i went to tuscon for a week, probably top 3 most awesome places ive been to, along with nevis and san fran

weather is real nice, low humidity, not always scorching hot but i cant rly say i went there in august and it wasnt too bad, tbh im from north carolina when i went to cali it was 100 and i didnt even know it i thought it was like 80. Nothing is worse than swamp heat, the SE is probably on par as the worst place to be in the summer.

But yea it is BEAUTIFUL out there, like amazing really. IDK about phoenix in terms of lifestyle though, but the only knock on arizona is the huge old white semi-racist population. Besides that i would love to live there, i remember i said i would try to move there when i got older.

And to add to this thread for anyone who lived in Phoenix, did you watch any Phoenix Suns games?

i loved phoenix while i was out there. mill ave/asu girls are easy, good car scene, almost impossible to get lost, bust guns out of city limits in the mountains. over all its one of the cleaner cities ive been to. i hung out on southern most of the time
