So I heard Samsung stopped production on blu ray players.

The writings on the wall brehs. In a few years everything is streaming sucks cause I like to actually own a copy. And picture/audio quality is unmatched if your playing straight from the source.

nope as long as Blu-rays take up GB's on storage space, discs will be needed... Most people dont even have broadband like that for large downloads... I buy games on discs fukk what anyone else heard...

Agreed... remember how Apple fukked up their entire Itunes library in an update and erased alot of their customers music??? nah get physical copies even if you need backups... if its physical YOU own it...

Since 2014 Blu-ray sales have dropped 50%.
I dont think it's going to totally end, but maybe it will evolve I think we're going the download route which Is even better the Blu-ray and streaming.

I haven't bought physical media in years, just stream it. I got tons of Blu Ray's sitting in my closet I haven't touched in I couldn't tell you how long. I used to always want the physical disc. But I have a kid now, I dont have the time or the space for physical disc's, give me the convenience

Like I’ve been saying, since physicals are being phased out why not give the cds and dvds to the artists and let them sell them from the house and pocket all the money. Bet that shyt will never happen though.
