Can be described as boring

Not good at pick beats

Strong stanbase that helps them do better numbers than a lot of other rappers that seem more popular?

Real connection with fans and they feel like this music deep and he’s not the typical rapper?

I can vibe with this despite Nas and Cole being better rappers.

I don’t think it’s Polo’s static flow that I don’t like about him.

it’s him being fake deep.

Nas is not fake deep despite inspiring a few fake deep trends.

J Cole can be fake deep at times, but does things with production, flow, and content to make up for it.

Polo hides behind the image of being deep to mask the fact that he can’t keep up with durk, baby, and carti.

He got his demo on lock tho.

:gucci:
Nas literally has 7. #1 albums on billboard top 200

I Am sold 472,000 first week
Hip Hop is Dead sold 357,000 first week
Stillmatic sold 325,000 first week

nikkas take the fact that illmatic is the poster album for being innovative and important despite the numbers not jumpin out the gym and act like Nas didn’t transition successfully.

when I was 12, I had no idea what illmatic was. I just heard “hate me now” and crowned him.
