nikka. U gonna respond to a nikka who know what they talkin bout or not? Nas was top 5 selling solo artist in 96. Nas was top 5 selling solo artist in 99. Nas was top 10 selling solo rapper in 01. His peers were NOT doubling tripling that in those years. Only people was X and Dre who doubled it. Eminem didn’t sell more first week than Nas. Nas sold 100k more than him. Jay Z sold less than a 100k more than Nas that year. But if u add in Nastradamus which went plat that year as well it bring it into perspective. Also. Nas sold that and that’s on top of being bootlegged more than any other artist that year. His shyt was plat on the streets before it dropped.
