when there has been more non east coast artist its usually artist that have clout/are notable in the game and it be from all over so its not like the west, south or midwest is getting any favor there. speaking of which even now, half the artist in the stickied category(not including coli's own) are east coast artist(Loyd, Ransom, and Skyzoo)

Because they just dropped projects god damn fam. I NEVER see Skyzoo so what the fukk is the problem with that? When the last time Lloyd Banks dropped a project? His album got stickied because it’s the talk of the town right now. The shyt actually hit billboard and that nikka’s independent. Dude is shakin and movin. Ransom as well. I barely EVER see him stickied. If anything this is a change of pace. But u bullshyttin like majority of artists who get stickied arent non east coast artists. shyt Dave East just dropped a project and ain’t nobody sticky that shyt. U looking for an issue fam.

nikka yes it is J Cole’s highest selling album is around the same amount as Nas but it took longer to get there than Nas did. J Cole never had a number 1 album for a month. And his competition was never as crazy either. And Nas has sold more records overall than Cole as well. Even if u only count 7 of Nas’ plat albums.

Im using them as examples to counter what you said, about noneast coast nikkas being stickied. the point is, non east nikkas as long as i have been here (2015-) i have never seen a majority non-east stickied compilation. without there being the valid reasons of that the artist are notable/popular artist like a Kanye, Kendrick, Drake, Wayne, Sean, Lucas, etc.
and again its split among mutiple regions, so its not like its just west nikkas, or south nikkas, midwest nikkas etc.

and im not 100% if there is a sticky limit, but i can bet dave would have had his shyt stickied if things werent so stacked now in the Booth(there is like 9 stickied threads on the booth not including the 2pac bday threads)

J Cole can be fake deep at times, but does things with production, flow, and content to make up for it.


Polo hides behind the image of being deep to mask the fact that he can’t keep up with durk, baby, and carti.

He got his demo on lock tho.

I can agree with this (except that part about Carti being better. ). He's considered a "real rapper" by reputation rather than content.

I do like Polo G but his contemporaries are technically and lyrically better but somehow he gets the "real rapper" label. Gunna is a much more advanced rapper and he's not considered a "real rapper".

I agree somewhat. I think his peers don't get the same amount of credit as Polo does for it. Maybe because they don't wear lyrical content on their sleeve perhaps.

and in the years i been here, this has not been true without there being solid reason as in these non east nikkas are poppin or have clout/big followings.(IE. mainstream like Migos, Roddy, YG, Cole, Herbo, etc. Or ones with big followings like KRIT, Gibbs, etc)
