They damn near giving XboxOnes away, yet PS4 hasn't budged really. What Gives? Are they not dropping a PS4.5? Or are the sales that strong it doesnt matter?

I just got an xbox one for $100. I basically bought it because I want to mess around with it inside.

as far as i know, the only xbox one hack / mod that will allow you to play 'backups' is in India, but they are keeping the 'release' internal meaning it will stay in India. some university students pulled it off. they are charging like 10-15 euros for it to local residents (they created their own little economy) due to the currency but they ain't leaking the method to the internet. but i have read it is not a true hack aka jailbreak ... i cannot confirm this but hopefully, Team Xecuter does something big.

i think all of these hacker groups are either getting paid to not release a jailbreak or they are planning out on how profit it off the scene. but what do i know ?
