But yes oppression is oppression but to act like we face the same problems as the ones before us in my opinion is disrespectful to them. you know they would kill to have some of the rights and freedoms we have. This thread is to black and white, if i say we have it better i dont mean everything is peaches and cream out here. And as fukked up as this may sound, I'll gladly take being pulled over by the cops than have my son taken away from me or my wife raped..

Bold is no where near fukked up at all. That's just life and annoying but to act like that shyt stops you from moving ahead in life is crazy. People like to say racism holding them back with no actual proof and some people on here just eat it up. Also people like Tariq (as much as I like him) contribute to this thinking some on here have. When they fail or aren't where a person of certain ages and life experiences are supposed to be stuff like that comforts them. If you notice like I do IRL most of the people that are the biggest complainers and excuse makers aren't doing that good in life. Coincidence I really think not and most of the time the system ain't holding them back they fukking up on their own. NOBODY is silly enough though to say its no problems its just most also see while there are problems you still have a way better chance to do things like set your family up for generations and freedoms generations before never had.

Yea sure you do even though the middle class has actually been shrinking since the 1980s and the most its ever been hasn't even been fifteen percent of the nation, meaning that the owners of the nation have kept the mobility scale small for centuries and kept the working class large on purpose; this whole thing of being able to set up generations is a lie, especially for blacks because we deal with twofold oppression: race and class. Capitalism is set up tp keep 90 plus percentage of the population ion wage labor with little to no room to move up the classes, so that American dream and middle class shyt you see in media is a farce. The majority don't have that opportunity and will never in this political economy.

Thats cool if you believe so but seeing where you come from and where I do just from a parents perspective honestly I'm not surprised you'd have different views than me on this. Its not to play you either just facts about the difference in how we started off. Honestly most people keep theirselves down and blame somebody regardless of race IMO. Why can't you make it? Whatever it is, this thread is very telling of the psyche of some young black men. I didn't think people in my generation thought racism is on par with the slavery era .
