Current top 5/10 can actually rap. You're good for a couple years but the highest selling and most successful rappers for a while can actually rap in some way, shape or form. Even the most acclaimed and successful in the underground can rap from nikkas like curry to earl. Pump is an outlier. Other rappers like him and all that other bullshyt don't really do as well as their fanbase online would make you believe.

Hell, even outside of their bullshyt, people like Uzi and Thug can obviously actually rap which is why they're doing better than before while rappers like lil xan are selling tickets for $2.

Rappers like Spitta or Gibbs wouldn't have as dedicated of fanbases as they do if rapping didn't matter. You wouldn't know a Joey Bada$$ or Action Bronson if they couldn't rap.

You can get 15 mins if you have an image and can pick up flows without actually rapping but very rarely do rappers that can't rap actually stay around.
