There was streaming prior to the pandemic and movies were doing a billion.
And top tier actors and directors still buy into the prestige of films over TV.
I think Pandora’s box was opened with the same day release. Will be hard to put that back in the bottle. We may get impressive box offices at some point several years from now but I don’t think we will record breaking with any sort of regularity…

I'm not saying regularly it will be rare. But never again? Some movie will capture the general audience imagination and many will see it in theaters to get over a billy.

Spiderman is gonna do numbers provided we don't have a lockdown again. It's not going to do its full potential, but I feel it'll hit 150-175 domestic first weekend. It's got enough juice that its hard to see it fail.

Yes. As more people adapt to staying home for movies the chance of records being broken are fading fast
