I had a feeling it would be trash. If I couldnt get into the first one there's no way I was gonna buy this.

Yeah, if you couldn't get into RDR, it was probably a result of the same Western motif that won't draw you into its sequel. But, RDR's gameplay was superb, which makes RDR2 all the more disappointing. It seems Rockstar invested all of their money into visuals and forgot to focus on the gameplay.

RDR1 is much better than RDR2. Dare I say it’s not as linear?

The first two chapters are somewhat of a chore to get through, and even the third is a bit slow. Once you get to the fourth act, everything becomes much more fluid and the world really begins to open up though. Just prioritize grinding out the missions for the first three acts and it becomes a really fun game.

I’m still on the 2nd chapter... I’m not into RPG games... or westerns..


But I will day that after that first act this shyt is fun af. There were literally 3 or 4 moments where this game had me bursting out laughing in tears.

It’s a very well thought out game honestly. It actually improves on a lot of things GTA5 did so well and looks extremely better (X1X ofcourse).
