Havent tried it yet but im hearing alot of positive things i just want it to be worth my money
The PSVR is great but is nowhere near worth the price
I'd pay $200-300 TOPS for a VR
good and bad for the future of VR IMO
good, because it's a complete AAA game for VR
bad, because it's a timed VR exclusive
it's exclusive to PSVR for a yearTimed VR exclusive? I don't follow.
Just means it will be released on other vr systems as well after a year. Why is that a problem?it's exclusive to PSVR for a year

Absolutely. I think it's clear it succeeded in making the case for PSVR. The problem is, people will still have misconceptions about VR in general until they try it out for themselves and $400 for the headset alone is a tough gamble. I've heard it all from people who have never used VR; "It's the same thing as Kinect". "All it is, is strapping a tv to your face". "It doesn't have any games, only movies/experiences on rails". Sony desperately needs to step up their marketing or else PSVR will be completely dead by the end of 2017.Havent tried it yet but im hearing alot of positive things i just want it to be worth my money
Sony won't officially drop support but they'll start phasing it out by the end of the year. PSVR will go along with other Sony projects that they launched and then just dropped support on (Eye Toy, Move, PSTV, Vita) cause they're too lazy to try and make something work and know they always have the PlayStation to rely on.Absolutely. I agree. All those things I've also said on here before. I used to doubt VR in general AS WELL as Sony. Now my doubt is solely on Sony and not whether or not there is a place for VR.Sony won't officially drop support but they'll start phasing it out by the end of the year. The tech is there for VR to be successful but it's too expensive at this point in time. If VR headsets launched at prices similar to consoles then things would be a whole different story. But they're not.
Is this how it was marketed to youTry it out. if you don't like it return it. The VR most likely WILL impress you right off the bat with just the demo disc. There's a lot of other cool small games but how long you'll be willing to wait for specific games that you like is another thing. There's a lot of "smaller" games.

It's not being marketed at all.Is this how it was marketed to you![]()

Reread what lardass wrote, since he's the resident Sony salesman I was just wondering if that is how they taught him to teach the massesIt's not being marketed at all.
BTW how in the blue hell did you go from +20 rep to -790 so fast?![]()

long story short, people act like internet message boards are sacred areas...
