So g rap ain't a legend?

G Rap's influence on the game was huge, from his time with the Juice Crew, his flow, to the content he was spitting in the Mafioso lane and being one of the first big street rappers from New York. His position is solidified because his influence was felt.

Ross has nowhere near the influence on the game that G Rap had. What kind of comparison is that? What trends has Ross started? What movements has Ross started? Ross often takes what other people have done and tries to build on it, nothing about him is original. He hasn't done anything to completely move the game on that top tier level. GFID was his chance to make it to the big leagues and he fumbled.

I was making the point that g rap is a legend, in spite of not selling platinum.

What would make him a legend? Plenty dudes with 6 albums and not a legend. Dudes skills are just ok, he's popular but dude didnt change the game/bring anything new - when he's not present, the music world doesn't skip a beat, I mean his beat selection skills are legendary, that's where it stops.

Yes. Best rapper of our time. The biggie of this generation. If it weren't for how he handled the CO situation, he'd be considered top 3 of all time. His discography is better than pretty much anyone except maybe kanye, whose first three albums are a trifecta of amazing music. Ross is the real deal, a master of his craft, and that's why so many people - including street nikkas - fukk with him.
