Bret was not just speaking on politics. For Bret, It was a combination of using politics and trying to hold him down and giving him a hard time in the back. Its best to actually read the book before speaking on it.

I don't blame Rock for not standing up for himself back in the day. All those dirtsheets and books talk about getting along with everyone and showing respect to the vets. He was probably just trying to earn their respect and not rock the boat as a rookie.

He sonned them both the only someone should....by blowing past both of them and their legacies. Hunter has clearly got a bit of a complex now, and Rock refusing to work with HBK all these years was great.
