Now they are basically making open world games, with middling stories that feature an even more middling online experience that they sell in game currency out of....that's it.

RDR2 and GTA 5 Online will print them money until they make GTA6 and they'll focus on keeping the online micro transactions gravy train rolling.

You'll never get another Rockstar Tennis venture. You'll never get another Midnight Club like experience. You'll get GTA with shyt music, retarded over the top characters who are either bombastic or woefully depressing......with online transactions, that's it.

San Andreas was their Magnus opus and GTA 4 with the story arching DLC was their swan song.
