That's actually a disrespectful comparison

808s practically birthed a new sound in hip hop and its influence is still prevalent today

I've listened to Rodeo closely and EVERY song sounds like a carbon copy of Travis cut and pasting different "sounds" and flows/melodies to create his songs. Literally nothing on the album sounds original.

I was raving about the engineering and how sonically the album is clean as fukk. The music itself sounds great production wise but what Travis brought to it was extremely subpar. If Cudi used some of those beats for his MOM3, I'm sure it would be an instant classic.

Travis album is more enjoyable. Its just cohesive as hell and sounds very inpired by 808's
