He's been hot garbage since at least the start of the 2012-13 season. How does he keep finessing teams like this? Is he really any more valuable than Ricky Rubio? He can't shoot and refuses to shoot so unless he's over dribbling, he can basically be ignored entirely.

when i saw him play without pierce, ray and/or KG while on the celtics i knew he was fools gold. he can't shoot for shyt and he struggles creating his own shot because of that. if you're gonna be a ball dominant player then you have to be able to score at will when plays break down. plus his bad FT shooting is too much of a liability. you can just send him to the line without any consequences.
that would be awful for the suns. they'll be a better team once they hand over the keys to booker and just run everything through him. having rondo on that team would kill everything on offense and that defense would be horrendous with him and booker on the perimeter.
I'd trade Brandon Knight for him right now

As a rondo Stan it hurts me to admit that especially post ACL he's been a huge facade

CP3, young sabo, the chef, and Monsieur steal your girl all have played over the last nine years and 
managed to even win an MVP award in that same span.

He passes up wide open shots and wide open lanes for himself to get them though. He always stalls out the offense to hunt for assists.He lead the league in assists last year

You've called Rondo the best PG since 2012, but that's besides the point. Not only was he NOT EVER the best PG at any point, but surely you can admit that he had you fooled? And are you really going to use what Magic Johnson says like he doesn't just regurgitate the most common belief at the time, then flip flop when that changes.....I said Rondo was the best PG in the league in 2012. You know who else said Rondo was the best PG in the league in 2012? The best PG of all time, Magic Johnson.

I used Magic Johnson's name because 1. Rondo was compared to him due to his triple doubles 2. play on his name Magic/illusion - was he really good (magic) or was was it always a false impression (illusion).
