I wanna know what was the meeting like when they decided to trade for dumb ass Westbrook. Did anyone dare to tell Bron that this won't be a good idea? They needed more defense, more playmaking and more elite three point shooting. Russ brings none of that.

Westbrooks mamba-esque mentality is why I’m a fan, but you’re right he needs to learn his role. Sadly I knew once the athleticism declined so would his game. I thought he would acclimate into a role player well, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

LeBron wanted a guy that could play his style (Bron ball) so that LeBron could play off ball

But it doesn't work, because LeBron a) is never going to be a consistently great off ball player since he isn't a shooter, and b) he doesn't run around and get open

So LeBron will just end up playing Bron Ball like he does every year

Plus Westbrook stinks.

This is the issue with LeBron though

His playstyle and flaws make it difficult to build around him without engineering high risk high reward trades

Here's the fact: if another star player had Anthony Davis, Buddy Hield, etc. And other good veteran free agents, we'd expect them to get it done.

Dude is a high level of delusion mixed with athletic ability that I don’t think we will ever see again…

he reminds me of those special needs kids who are great at certain aspects of things. Kind of like rain man was. Not saying that he’s special needs or anything. And the dude clearly works hard. But in his mind it’s probably not a switch that says stop or chill or maybe you should let him take the shot.
