shots when He's one of the worst shooters in the league has to be over confident or delusional at this point

All he has to do is play to his strength i.e driving to the basket,finishing at the rim and playmaking.
You don't see steph curry post-upping in the paint or celtics rondo spaming 3's, just stick to your strengths and minimize your weakness. I'm sure all the nba coaches he's played under would have pointed this out to him but He's just to damn stubborn and brainless
