Is Rust Cohle A Top 10 Character In TV History?

Nah man as much as i love the character, its only an eight episode season, not enough backstory and moral conflict to consider him top 10
As cool as he is... Ya need to chill

Honestly, after those eight I think you can make a case for Rust maybe being top 10 There's gonna be a ton of other characters vying for those last two spots along with him though

Man, those first 5 episodes were just damn near flawless.

I really liked the character in those first 5 episodes but they have reduced him to cliche-status now. They took one of the most unique characters I've ever seen and made him bland.

Still a great show and character though. Let me get back to you after next Sunday.

I would say so. Of the strength of a genuinely compelling character he's up there. Too bad we have to base that on such a small sample.

Yes.... Top 5 and I been watching TV a long time. I didn't think any character would be as compelling as Walter white in years but Rustin Cohle is up there. Too bad we only get one season though. Show is piff
