Nah.

The team knows they need more weapons on offense, hence Fisher going apeshyt when the Jags traded up in front of them and took Justin Blackmon in the draft. They'll have opportunities over the next two years in the first round to help him surround him with talent.

I've always thought he was immensely talented and maybe that's clouding my judgement, but I still think he'll put it together.

I'm probably one of the few Ram fans on here and Like Dude said its similar to a David Carr Situation.I thought the QB class was weak and the talent drop off for Clausen wasn't big enough to warrant taking Sam first.Regardless, this is a QB league and Bradford was clearly the best QB prospect. Its on him but its evident the O line needs tweaks but more importantly we don't have a number 1 WR. Wish we couldve got Blackmon or been a little worse the year before to.get Green or Julio. Also every young QB needs that safety valve TE which we also don't have. But anyways yeah Sam has underperformed but I say give him another couple years to make a full call on that Bust Label.

clausen isnt even a starting qb anymore...I dont see how its like the carr situation at all, when there were 2 qbs drafted in top 3 in 2002... and carr going to an expansion team with a makeshift OL spelled obvious disaster from day one

forgot to add a :snoop:

it was just a bad QB class compared to the ones that followed them. And I say its a Carr Situation as just not a good situation for him to be in. The Rams should not have drafted a QB first in that draft but media/scouts/fans usually make that First Pick a QB. Suh or Berry were obviously better prospects but as I said its a QB league and if youre the first overall QB regardless of stats cause Bradford is putting up average stats and you're team is winning you're not a bust(sans Alex Smith).

The fact that he needs a couple more years suggest "bust" to me. He's not horrible or anything, just I don't see him making much of an impact on the NFL - thus not justifying his #1 pick status. Dude needs more help, definitely, but just looking at him...eh.

Kendricks will be an above-average TE, he had some really good catches today. He has times where he drops the ball, but I think he'll be good at TE. Has the size and speed, and can block.

And no way Bradford should be mentioned with Clausen, Bradford's shown that he can be really good with receivers that catch the ball. I wouldn't even say that he's underperformed, maybe given his contract/draft spot, but he's putting it together in my eyes with what he has.

With the emergence of Givens, I think Amendola IS a number 1 receiver if he's healthy. Brian Quick isn't bad either. The receiving core is going to mature, and with maybe 1 good free agent wideout signing Sam will be good.

try working with Brandon Gibson, Givens, and Pettis as your WR's. Busts don't lead drives like he did the past two weeks, plus his performances against SF were good and that ain't an easy defense.

Rams need more talent on offense, they are pretty good defensively and they've used the draft/FA to shore up that side of the ball

O-Line and WR needs to be a priority and Bradford will play better

He's teetering bust status. Considering the contract as well.

He's not Sanchez, Gabbert level bad, but he's not anything more than mediocre
