Just visited for the first time last week. Has to be the most unique city in the US. Such extreme topography and density going along with that nature. Not surprised money would try to hold that place and move any challengers out. Had been to San Jose before, and SF was just like a different planet. Black population was noticeably absent. Surprised at the lack of hispanics as well.

SF is turning into mini europe, the people are nice enough but oblivious to SF's lack of diversity. They actually think its diversed..:mjlol:

Like I said before, the white girls will date you .....they wont hire you though..:mjlol:

SF is like a grown college town most people are 25-45 years old, not that many kids, not that many elders.

Was weird. Outside of a few brehs at restaurants and where we were staying, the only black folks I saw were some street entertainers, some dudes on their street hustle on market St and a few homeless. Was surprised to see their mayor is black. And people say Dallas is too white for them. That was crazy compared to Dallas. Basically an Asian and white City. I can easily see the appeal. Weather and scenery. One could live a really clean and healthy lifestyle. But damn, so expensive and so white and Asian that it didn't feel diverse. We stayed in an Air bnb in Sunset. Looked up them rents and mortgages in that area and was like :picard::gucci:. We talked to a few brehs there, and they peeped to us a little game about how it was living there. One breh and his girl were surfers it there in that cold ass water.:dwillhuh:.

Good times though. Went up to Napa for Valentine's day and did some wineries. Are some damn good food. Even went to the Coltrane church. Didn't get to talk to anyone though. I had to laugh and say, well that's just church for me growing up, but with better musicians. Much better.

Been there for a lot of conferences and meetings completely. No real diversity and black folks living rough. The homelessness situation is just tragic. But if you can get past all that and are independently wealthy, cool place to live.

These were my exact thoughts. European Austin. I think it's definitely a must visit if you like traveling though.

I’m not even surprised by this.

The only people who can afford to remain in SF with today’s rent are your token software engineers who make 6 figures (especially considering that we tend to prefer suburban type neighborhoods way more than cacs do when we make enough money to have a choice) and who’s friends and boyfriend/girlfriend are usually white and asian OR people who have cheap rent because they live in the projects. Like no middle ground whatsoever.

An employee at a tech company in San Francisco said they have a black lives matter poster on the wall.........but no black employees
Breh. There was thread on here about Google posting an article for black history month. I simply posted how less than 5% of their employees are African American whilst the majority hired are white and Asians. Of course, you had the short sighted nikkas getting mad at me because I don't see token gestures during black history month as real progress.

If they really cared then they would address this ongoing issue when it comes to "diversity". But sadly, a lot of these clowns will always be happy with empty token gestures.

That California Lifestyle ...
You all are in the wrong parts of the city for black folks .. And San Francisco and the Bay Area are like LA and NYC . You gotta travel get in traffic or Bart to see other parts of the Bay Area . Black ppl live in SF but congregate and do things all over the Bay Area . It’s far from racist smh

During my time staying in California over the past years...I didn't think San Francisco was racist but it's just different (vibe, attitude, lingo, etc) compared to the rest of California...there are black ppl there just not out in the open.

To certain extents it's like San Diego, both are located in Cali but it doesn't feel like it's apart of the family instead it stands on it's own feet.

Unlike you I don't talk behind ppl back like a bytch...if you got something to say tag me instead of acting like bytch and try to sneak diss. Fakket ass nikka. If you really about something you'd contact Google on that but no you just wanna bytch online to nobodies (like yourself) and stay powerless..Yeah I'm sure Google heard your little punk ass rant in that thread (sarcasm).

You ain't shyt for that and I say this with the bottom of my heart.

So you gonna do something about it or just bytch since that's all you can do?

Look how you talk behind another man's back...you ain't no man just a bytch. Don't tag me nikka.

I stopped reading there. How can I talk behind anyone's back on a public forum? You are aware of how this medium works right?

Plus... I can't take e-thugging seriously from someone who posts multiple selfies of himself on a board that is 95% male. Whose attention are you trying to get? nikkas really mad they weren't tagged by another man?:dame:

You're right that most tourists never leave Downtown/North Beach/Chinatown/etc. but I don't agree that other parts of the City are much better in 2020. There are a few black natives still holding onto property in Fillmore/Lakeview/Bayview/Haight/Outer Mission, a handful of wealthier black natives who aren't affected by displacement and a sprinkling of older black natives living in rent controlled units all over SF, but outside of them, the only new black faces are techies. Damn near everyone else living in the City lives in section 8, the projects or on the streets. The only black middle class people in SF work for the City (i.e. MUNI, the school district) or in the Financial District and the vast majority of them don't live in SF.

And no one said that there aren't black spaces in the Bay Area, SF is comparatively dried up though. There are some great black art spaces in Fillmore & Bayview that I still frequent, the black scene in SF for anybody passing through without knowing a connected native within the City though is pure :trash:. You're not gonna chance up on too much of nothing that isn't whitewashed by the standards of damn near any other major city.

Everybody just moved to the other side of the bridge

Wrong. That's another outdated stereotype pushed by a outsider white perspective that all of the nikkas in the Bay are in Oakland. :unimpressed:Oakland is also bleeding it's black population. Oakland went from around 50% black in the 80's to around 20% black today and dropping. Black folk getting pushed out the Bay period. Black folk in the Bay getting pushed into the Valley or moving outta state usually down south I.e. ATL, Texas, Louisana.

Larry June holding it down for Black SF:mjcry:

Not to discredit breh, but he moved out of the city when he was literally 4 years old, move to ATL and then moved to Vallejo for high school. :dahell: You don't have thorough born and bred SF reps in the rap game like you did back in the 90's. Cellski, UNLV and Cougnut were Lakeview nikkas for real. :demonic:RBL were HP for real. There's a reason why the term "real Frisco" is so prevalent online with Bay natives. :martin:But SF always been a transient city. Very few people are born and raised in Frisco their whole life. Arguably, black folks had the deepest roots in the city with multiple generations living on the same hoods since the 40's. All of the cacs and Asians are foreign born or at born in a different city or state at the least.

Are Asians a racist as people say they are out there?
