A lot of rap disses are like that. Especially when someone is beefing a bigger star. For example, look at Jadakiss ''Checkmate'':

You made history! 1.1 million in a short week! (laughs)
I ain't mad, I don't wanna sound mad, I feel marvelous
Translation: :mjcry:

I might never sell that much
Translation: :mjcry:

Yeah, you got a felony, but you ain't a predicate
Translation: I know you're thorough..but you aint been back in the bing :umad: (lmao). SN: Has Jada even done a bid :wtf:

Never the King of New York, you live in Connecticut
You don't be in the hood, you be in the woods
Translation: You live in a mansion with lots of space. You're not cooped up in an NYC project apartment like the rest of us. :win:

You should just sell clothes and sneakers
Translation: Goddamn that G unit clothing is making you mad money :whew:

You had to get shot 9 times to be rich
Translation: How the fukk did you make so much money :dahell:

You can basically call 90% of the diss raps in Hip Hop history some self inflicted loss if you reach like OP. Second Round K.O was looked at as a dope track for a long time...let's not do this.

It's entertainment my man, lighten up.

I was listening to this joint while I was at the gym and laughed at a few lines, that's all.

I feel you. Just pointing out that you can make a bunch of diss tracks in Hip Hop history and twist it to a loss. But eat, homie.

Can't believe I used to actually listen to this and think he was insulting LL

but your whole breakdown is cherry picking to prove a point with holes and(as LL would say) some heads sucked it up...'

i can do the same thing u just did but in Canibus' favor

So I'ma let the world know the truth, you don't want me to shine
You studied my rhyme, then you laid your vocals after mine
That's a bytch move, somethin that a homo rapper would do
So when you say that you +Platinum+, you only droppin +Clue's

LL was threatened by the presence of a young up and comer murdering him on his own shyt so LL does a sucker move and openly disses the newbie for no reason who's just trying to get on.

Plus to avoid the fact that you ain't got skills

I noticed u left this out for obvious reasons as it points out that 98 LL was not the lyrical beast he once was in 85

Before you wanted a war, now you wanna talk

We know due to that recorded phone call LL displays that same talk shyt now but wanna squash it behind the scenes behavior that Soulja Boy has been doing heavy this year

That's why I laugh when I hear that wack ass verse.

That 4321 verse was kinda eh!

That shyt was the worse [pause] rhyme I ever heard in my life
cause the greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th

Canibus is why we never forget Biggies death date....thats called lyrics with lasting impact.

A fakkit nikka tryin ta make a livin offa dissin
Somebody that he gotta know is betta than him

from Ice T to Kool Moe Dee to Jay Z, LL has had a rep for attempting to stay relevant by getting at whoevers hot at the moment to stay in the current ear. Jay Z learned from this and would later flip it and get on tracks with whoever was hot at the moment to stay in the current ear.

And if you really want to show off, we can get it on
Live in front of the cameras on your own sitcom

Canibus bought back the spirit of Moe Dee with that line. Moe Dee caught LL on stage challenged him and LL backed off.....LL didn't want no parts of an actual live battle with Canibus especially with that rep he had for making Wu Tang members sweat in an actual live battle.

fukk that, cause like Common and Cube I see +The bytch In Yoo+
and I'ma make the world see it too, motherfukker

yes...the fact that we r still talking about 2nd Round Knock Out nearly 20 years after its conception is that Canibus suceeded in showing the world how LL had some "sucker" in him for that sucker move he did with 4321.
