Of course he's right. And Durant agrees.

dont see how its not right. I remember a poster asked why Durant gets so much hate in terms of skills. I dont see a lot of hate but when there is criticism of him its by purists and not casuals. as long as he was on OKC he was never viewed as the best player in the league...as soon as he joins the Warriors he automatically gets that mantle? thats bullshyt. people are enamored with the uniqueness of his game and his otherworldly scoring ability. he is close to being that guy but Steph has shown more.

to that point about his uniqueness, it doesnt always translate to winning because his scoring and defense can be replicated by committee. you cant replicate Curry's skillset. if Durant gets injured GS can still win. if Steph is out, almost no way in hell they can win it all.

Come on now, bruh spent damn near 10 years in OKC and only one finals appearance...and got washed to boot
They had one healthy postseason in his last 4 seasons there :gucci:. Was he supposed to lead one of the worst teams in the league to a title when he was between 19-20 years old :gucci:? He was 21 and 22 during the 2010 and 2011 playoffs and nobody on their core team had been to the playoffs at all before 2010, let along done any serious winning at that point. That shyt takes experience. The only year they deserved any real heat for was 2016.

No because in that stupid ass logic of faulting KD when he was talking to Skip he said "Look, they losing!" as if Lebron and the Cavs havent been getting worked by teams significantly worse than Minnesota that very same night. :hula:

Ok, lets say we blame russ for KD leaving OKC.....can someone tell me a reason he chose Golden State of all places if not to play with an already stacked roster he knew he could damn near immediately win a championship with? Dudes on here talk like he didnt have a choice :russ: the nicca knew EXACTLY wat he was doing signing with a team that went to the finals back to back with an unanimous MVP on it. Is shannon 100% right? maybe not, but there definitely is some truth in it at least in regards to "thats why he signed with golden state"

Who deliberately passes up the best chance to win or intentionally picks the hardest route if your top priority is winning besides mid 2000’s Kobe? If winning is the top priority, nobody does that :yeshrug:. The only other time someone does that is when the goal is money, in which case, go get paid :salute:

I get that (i guess) but the fact remains he chose a team where he wouldnt be the alpha AND would be the easiest. He could've went to the wizards and only had to worry about lebron and would've been the alpha. Could've went to san antonio and would've been the alpha (mostly because kwahi is so lowkey) and been in contention every year and most likely beat the warriors easily. He chose the easiest route and where he wouldnt have to be the main guy. Dude is always robin no matter how many finals MVPs he gets on this team.

To each their own. The wizards aint shyt though. Haven’t won 50 games or reached the conference finals since magic and bird were still in college and if he really wanted to play for Scott brooks, he’d still be coaching the thunder. What incentive does he have to leave the thunder and their frontline and point guard for the wizards? If the spurs have the cap space that would be a great call, but I don’t think they did. Personally I define alpha as doing whatever it takes to reach your goal. His goal was win no matter the smaller details.

Might be. That team is too talented to be losing against a Minny squad without their best player(butler). If I’m GSW I give Steph as long as he needs to heal and get that ankle right.

It’s ironic cuz Chuck said Houston needs Harden to play like an MVP for the rockets to even have a chance but that GSW can rest one of their top 3 every night and still compete and be a top team in the league

Maybe it’s Kerr we should be talking about being the underachiever instead of Durant...

Man, me and a bunch of others been tryna tell y'all that Kerr is ass

Give dantoni the warriors roster and they could win 80 games if healthy

:comeon:THEY ONLY HAD ONE INJURY FREE PLAYOFF RUN
AFTER THAT FINALS APPEARANCE
WHICH WAS THE YEAR THEY BLEW THE 3-1 LEAD.

THEY MAKE THE FINALS 2-3 MORE TIMES EASILY IF HEALTHY.

this team isnt built to help kevin succeed....you have klay going 6 for 22 an quinn cook as your starting PG who should stilll be in the G-league...this team was built around steph...not Kd
