I actually dont see a problem with how she's handling dude, I don't really see how you can be upset with her if its just as shes calling it.


She has a male friend that hasn't asked her out or tried anything sexual If I'm not missing anything. That's crazy rare, and something that most women be dying to have, why would she drop him if everything appears to be neutral and dude hasn't shot his shoot as far as anything romantically.


If she was using him for time, money and emotional support and dude has made it clear that he wants a relationship then yeah that's lame....but after 4 years of passively aggressively knocking at the door I'm more upset with him

He had it in him to say he doesn't want a serious relationship so I am assuming that if he didn't say anything beyond that then it doesn't need to be said. He seems cool. I'm cool. So I went on my date last night. It was this dude who I have been going on dates with for like 4 years. We've never touched, kissed or held hands. I guess he would be considered a simp. I like hanging out with him so it's all good. Anyway, there wasn't too much that I did different. I always let him choose the restaurant, am always nice and attentive anyway so there wasn't too much difference there. But I did take a page out of the "Dean's" book and when our appetizer came out I made sure to grab a plate and serve him first. When I was thinking about doing it I was mentally struggling. But I did it and it was honestly painless. He was like " Who? What? Where? Why? How?.................. Thank you!!" He had invited me on groups trips before but after that it turn into. "I want to take you on a trip; just me and you" and "I will pay for your ticket." He then devised this scheme where he would pay for a ticket for me to travel home and change his flight plans so he would have a layover and spend one day with me. I declined. I can't say if serving him first really made him do all that but it's the first time he hasn't "played it cool." So it might have. So far I am loving the results. I need a real date with someone I've never been out with before. I'll work on it this week. The saga continues...

The more I think about, I'm not even mad. I used to invite chicks to dinner all the time when I was in consulting and had a meal budget to spend. These aren't chicks I was trying to date or smash, just chicks I thought were cool. It wasn't my money and I couldn't pocket the savings so why not.
