To me, it was the first time that I heard Jamie Foxx sing outside of his show back when I was a kid. For a good couple years, Jamie ran R&B lowkey. From 2004-2011, Jamie had hits and was killing the movies. He’s the Black Jim Carrey to me.


Kanye was giving out the sauce to cats back then outside of Jay-Z.. Props to him for being a nerd that loved Sizzurp and LV.

I still hold it over my nggas that I was ‘first’ on Kanye. I remember scouring limewire for all his solo tracks. My way, the original Home, slow jamz….he had a ton of leaks that sounded like they got uploaded straight from the session. Unmastered, shaky quality.

The original Slow jamz was heard nothing like it before….Twista wasn’t on the original. But yea it was an instant classic. A lot of his leaks were bc how he was chopping the samples as just I knew he was gonna be a star
