Yes and no. You don't have to view the content but if you're on Instagram, Facebook, twitter, etc you will be bombarded with content about the upcoming movie. You would have to be completely off of message boards and social media to avoid any possible spoilers or information so you the movie viewing experience would be completely fresh. It doesn't help that studios keep making trailers that pretty much spoil the movie. The prime example being Dawn of Justice. The second trailer released pretty much told the entire movie. Also these entertainment magazines like Empire show to much info. Again prime example being the coverage of Dawn of Justice. We saw Darkseid's logo in the pictures almost two months before the movie was released.
and I cant fathom why marvel release multiple 3 min clips 2 weeks before every movie they do
. But I cant complain because no one made me click
so I just won't next time brehs....................its gon be hard though
next year things really pick up...............If I go against everything I said in this post, know that Im struggling like a fiend
