i think all this "payback" shyt is giving them too much credit
it's human nature really. These people are shytting on easy targets (hetero black men) so they can be accepted by those with power, wealth, and status.
Shae butter twitter hoes shyt on black men because they hate being black and the struggles associated with blackness so they lash out at the only people they feel safe lashing out towards without repercussions. They think by siding with white folk they will escape blackness and live the good life.
women and effeminate men will always side with power. the lack of proper parenting just adds to fuel to the fire cuz the parents are supposed to instill self esteem and decorum. Remember, heterosexual black men *did* have social power back in the 90s when heterosexuality was the norm and people praised the superthug shyt. When the feminists/gays got a hold of power in the late 00s, they made sure that straight (black) me, will never get the influence of the 90s ever again.

social power is cool but women are loyal to POWER power. control of the media, control of the money, control over life and death (justice system, military, police)
the internet/social media just accelerated the alienation between black men and women (hell, american men and women now) that started in the 90s

It’s about money. Marketing centers on demographics that buy things, or influence the purchase/viewing of things by others. You know who buys a lot of shyt? Black women. And do you know who influences the purchase and viewing of a lot of shyt? Gay men. They buy shyt and talk about it on social media. They drive demand and interest.
So if you want your product - let’s say it’s a television show - to drive conversation you want it to appeal to black women, white women, and gay men. They’re gonna create the twitter hashtags, post funny clips, market your handsome male cast members, etc.

Yep, even today, any curvy non black woman is all gassed up and think that black men gotta jump through hoops to smash. Those booty-lite magazines like King and all those "Black Men" mags had Latina hoes on there. And like you said, it all Puffy fault.
