Is Sons of Anarchy worth watching?

Is "Justified" a Gangster drama too? Reading these posts made me realize I shouldn't have even wasted my time with that SoA spinoff & should've just got into "Justified".

Justified is like the Wire lite in terms of looking at things from the good guy/bad guy dealings. I guess it’s a gangster drama.

The first 4 seasons of SoA are definitely worth watching. The show starts to fall off in season 5 & is trash by the final season. If you're interested in SoA, you should also consider watching FX's "The Shield".

I watched The Shield way back. I felt that show fell off towards the end.

Nah!!! "The Shield" progresses the opposite of how "Sons......" progressed. "The Shield" is a show that got better & better as each season went on. I don't think I've ever watched another TV Show with as many seasons do that for the ENTIRE SERIES. In fact, I think "The Shield" is sorta slept on because the best seasons are the later seasons. They really build off the storylines from the earlier seasons.

If you haven't seen The Shield, and are even considering watching Sons, the only move is to not watch Sons, and just watch The Shield. You can get get everything that is good about Sons, better done, without the bullshyt, that way.

the fukkery is unparalleled and the final 2 seasons will have you analyzing how a biker gang can pull off so much criminal activity and that part of California not declare a state of emergency.

that blame it on black shyt is the biker gang version of what Tony Soprano and the crew used to do when it was time to “explain” one of their shameful fukk ups. No one would bat an eye because I guess every Black person is a potential solo crime syndicate just waiting to erupt.

The show jumps the shark after the little cac baby gets kidnapped and taken to Ireland are whatever. The seasons after that are pretty terrible but it picks up during the final season.
