In terms of solely catching and finishing you could make a case for Amare but he had no longevity so it’s hard to compare to Malone as a whole

Amar'e didn't have a peak nearly as long as Malone nor was he a better player, but at the rim, I'll take Stoudemire.

I think Amare was a better all around finisher in the pick n roll.

Now if I'm ranking pick n roll tandems, overall, I'd rank Stockton n Malone

ahead Nash & Amare.I respect the longevity.They did it damn near 20 years together.

As a finisher, Amare's the best IMO.Especially before the knee issues.

Had the first step of a nimble SG, with hands to catch everything like C Webb(C Webb still has the best hands I've seen on a big)

Plus his hops and explosiveness...on top of that, his relentlessness.He was the most dynamic.Automatic mid range J..etc..etc

Malone just did it longer.If you wanna put Malone on top for longevity, I ain't mad at you.

Im trying hard to think about any other possible big that was even close to STAT at catching and finishing, and outside of Kemp and Blake I can't think of any other person even in the conversation, real talk.
