Curry's intensity isn't the same. Nobody on that team has anything to prove until the Finals. Durant being on the team has taken him out if his rhythm to a certain extent up to this point. He doesn't get into the same groove like the past where he was comfortable launching those ridiculous shots.

You want to talk "Is Steph Coasting" when the Cavs are sitting out their star players?

The anti-Warriors resentment in this forum is ridiculous :deadrose:

So you really gonna act like there hasn't been numerous threads on the Cavs resting stars?

Maybe some feel both teams are coasting, but THIS particular thread is about Steph drop off....

KD is better than Steph, and yet Lebron is ranked #1 and Curry is #2. KD is #3. This is the ranking for numerous outlets, and that's after the finals and the start of this season. Again, KD regardless of where you got him, is not going to reduce Curry to little brother. Let me put it like this. LeBron is the best player in the world. He's at a level in which if he went to OKC, Durant is behind him. He's #2. Same with Curry and Bron. Nobody in here is going to tell me Durant for the Warriors demotes Curry like that. People were destroying KD for
joining the dude that killed him and his team. Yo was anybody watching the NBA last year? Now everybody knew no way he was better than Durant.

If Golden State wins the title this year and Curry is Finals MVP, watch what happens popularity wise. Don't bother watching any media channels. His wife, daughters, parents, pastor, college deans, The Currys will be everywhere, and the flip flopping people did when Kyrie destroyed him, will increase by the millions. Now if KD wins the MVP, and Curry is trash for his 3rd year in the row? It's a wrap.
Steph couldnt even get Finals MVP when he was the best player on his team. Lebron was about to win it in a losing effort, which NEVER happens, but when not enough people wanted to get on board with that, they gave it to a Golden State bench player, which is even rarer :mjlol: Steph didnt get one single vote in two straight finals appearances, but now you think he's gonna win it after he's added a new top dog to his team?? That makes no sense.

Durant got destroyed for pulling what can only be described as a bytch move. That doesnt mean Curry was ever better than him.

He still leading the league in 3pt shots made..
Eric Gordon makes just as many and is shooting a much better percentage.

You would replace Barnes with KD too... I agree they should have kept Boguts but ZaZa is doing a solid job

Rumor has it Bogut for Mccaw trade in the works
What rumor? They had to drop Bogut to get space to get Durant in the first place. Mccaw is a rookie, his contract cant be traded for Bogut making 12 mil :heh:

Curry is the sole reason why GS made the finals 2 years in a row..

I love you revisionist history ass mofos on here :russ:
Anyone claiming that any player other than maybe Lebron James is the sole reason for back to back Finals appearances, is full of shyt. They dont even beat the Thunder without Klay going nuts game 6 and KD conveniently fading away so GS could come back.

Barnes gave them nothing.. If he avg 10-15pts a game in the finals GS wins back to back..
You stans gotta stop with this blaming Barnes for losing shyt. You say if he averaged 10 they win. Well he averaged 9.3. Thats not good...but only 2 points lower than his season average.

Meanwhile Curry's Finals numbers across the board were dramatically down for the 2nd straight year, with his shooting numbers going from scorching good during the reg season, to below average during the playoffs, to downright terrible in the Finals.

Who's supposed to be the leader? Who's supposed to be the best player again? Nah but instead its all Barnes fault cause he put up 9 a game instead of 10.

Talk about revisionist history...You've done nothing but kick bullshyt this entire thread lol

Minutes down, usage rate down, shot attempts down, assist rate down...he's playing less, shooting less, and is not as involved in the offense on a possession basis ie coasting and playing off of Durant.

KD is not better than Stephen Curry. :camby:

He mght be better statistically right now, I'll give you that but when Steph is on and KD is on, Steph is clearly the superior player. Last year Curry played at a higher level than KD ever did. Curry literally changed the way that NBA teams played defense. :russ:

Y'all love bringing two series as an argument to shyt on Steph but KD ain't shyt when it counts either. :patrice:
Curry is better than him, y'all just caught up in the moment.
KD's stats are only the way they are because of Steph, you put any other player in his position and KD will go back to shooting retarded double teamed floaters.

Yeah...Eric "Im healthy this season and shooting 3s better than Steph" Gordon. That guy :umad: #factsonly

Im written nothing but facts in this thread, from 3pt numbers to finals stats to basic shyt like how trades work. Its certainly unfortunate that you've just happened to be on the wrong side of the facts on every topic

Lmao at "we aint talkin finals numbers" when I was responding to YOU blaming Barnes and, guess what? Talking finals numbers.

Again to claim Curry as the "sole reason" for Golden State's success is nonsense and lowkey disrespectful to the Warriors entire team. As if Steph is some monster talent carrying a squad of nobodies like AD or those first era Lebron Cavs teams. :stopitslime: Quite the opposite. Steph was their best player, but their success was entirely the result of everyone playing their role and stepping up when needed. Hell, the team's damn slogan is Strength in Numbers, but you wanna bury everyone else all in the name of continuing to dikkride steph kegels :scust:

But oh, you "aint even a Warriors fan" you say? :mjpls: Yeah, we seem to have a lotta those on the coli...

Hence why I dont think adding Durant to the Warriors automatically guarantees a championship. You add another aint shyt to a group of aint shyts, they still havent proven anything. :yeshrug:
