And no...Kerr isn't a good coach...the one time he actually had to be a good coach...when bogut got hurt...he failed miserably and his team lost every game after that in the finals...

Mark Jackson would still be running David Lee postups and Monta Ellis ISOs while leaving Curry and Klay as Bron ball spot up shooters with Draymond rotting on the bench if he had the opportunity. Dude is a fraud that only got as far as the 2nd round because he had some of the most talented players of this era overwhelming his deficiencies as a coach. Warriors defense is also infinitely better in almost every conceivable way, from rotations to switching, versatility, and rim protection, with Kerr at the helm than it ever was with him. Do not understand why he gets so much credit for them evolving into the league best defense they have been for the past 3 years that they never were when he was coaching.

Kerr makes some dumb decisions, mainly with lineup choices, like any coach does from time to time. I still wouldn't rather have any other current coach besides Pop himself running my team if I had any say in the matter. The "he only wins cause of the talent on his team" take is so stupid; Pop, Phil Jackson, Riley, Auerbach, and every other historically great coach never won jack shyt consistently without all-time great players on their teams either. Great coaches are great BECAUSE they maximize the talent they have, and Jackson never came close to doing that with the Warriors, as evidenced by how dominant they've been ever since Kerr took over.

How was Mark using Steph as a spot up shooter when he averaged like 24 under Mark? What spot up shooters average those kind of numbers? Plus Steph averaged more assist under Mark meaning he had the ball in his hands. The idea that the Dubs were just winning because they had such an abundance of talent is also bullshyt because Steph, Klay nor Dray had matured into what they would eventually become. That's why Jarret Jack being there was so crucial to provide consistency when the others would go hot & cold. On top of that during those years they didn't begin to fortify their bench to the point it has been in recent years. The Dubs had to get through that same Iggy who would join the following year and Shawn Livingston was still going through it with his leg. A strong case can be made that the Clippers had more talent on their team over the years.
