Supreme clothing has always been overpriced trash.
HYPE AND RESELL MAKE IT OVER PRICED. THE BRAND RETAILS FOR THE SAME PRICE AS ANY MAJOR MALL BRAND (Ralph Lauren, JCrew, clothing in Urban outfitters)

A supreme t-shirt is 30-50, just like any other major mall brand in PacSun, Ralph lauren

Supreme pants are $150; Cheaper than any other Japanese selvedge on the market

Supreme Cut n Sew shirts and sweaters run $70-$150, same prices as ralph lauren and J Crew.

Nah, I know why it's overpriced. There's an insane demand for it from tasteless hypebeasts, which makes it a lucrative opportunity to for resellers who manage to grab new releases before they're sold out. But even the reseller scam is dying out, since only less than a handful of resellers have bots fast enough to purchase the stock before it's gone.

I'm in my 30's now and I've been rocking this brand since early 2000, and it TRULY SICKENS ME what Supreme's image is today.

Fuccbois;Crackers, Children, Wack rappers, and asians, pretty much posters on Hypebeast and KTT, have adopted the brand to give them cool, they still don't and never had. The Consumers are making the brand look shyt, but they will find something else.

When the fuccbois move on, the real heads will still be around. I'm always going to check for the brand. It's pretty much Polo status, and their approach to branding is very LO-LIFE inspired, I guess it's up to us og's to start kicking fukk bois asses when we see them.

I'm sure Lo-Lifes was looking at what the south and Kanye west was doing to polo and looking like, "these fukk nikkas:dahell::hhh::birdman::demonic: Claiming to be Lo-Heads." Now they Are Being Celebrated and they are Celebrating. These fakkit nikkas will move on to what ever the next hype shyt will be, but the heads will be here:smugbiden::win:

Streetwear is garbage to me now. I'm in my 30's, someone who once rocked the well known brands in this industry, but I just can't escape this nagging feeling that streetwear is the fashion embodiment of culture vulturing. It's been adopted by all the undercover racists who want to dress like the people they secretly hate.

I'll argue that trad is the traditional style, especially amonst your gentil cracker, seen this alot on the campuses of unc. But it was THE STYLE THAT RULES in the south, Not the brands. The south is about THAT LOOK, PREPPY IS COLLEGE GOOD OL BOY, Boat shoes, khaki shorts above the knee, vinyard vines sperries, understated sneakers (though thats changing), But they will throw on some cowboy or rugged hiking shoes and boots.

nikkas got on to polo through HIPHOP in the south, polo was what ever up untill the 80's when LO LIFES MADE THAT shyt HOOOOOT. polo was always seen as luxury sports wear, because thats actually what it was, nikkas was not just out rocking polo like that, not even regular ANYBODY. Boosters made luxury shyt hot because it was supposed to be unattainable, but they got that shyt for free, and made Ralph lauren BILLIONS.

Supreme just was valuated at 1 billion. They aint going anywhere. They too big to fail.

Supreme is Culture, the consumer is the vulture. I even see some sankofa as the give back to they cultures they cull their inspiration. I ain't mad at supreme for doing what they do, even though this new brand director and team is kinda garbo, the brand is too big to fail. They are on the brink of some sort of cultural and marketing strategy that is gunna be a capitalist wet fukking dream.
