He’s just getting the platform to show off his skill. He’s always been good in the ring.

As much as Jay White killed it with that promo against MJF and is most likely in line for the next title shot, Swerve needs to be the one to take down MJF for the belt.

Yup he should of been someones number 2 or 3 Babyface a few years ago..I think swerve having the bucks on his podcast earlier this summer helped to build a rapport with the elite which is probably helping his booking but I could be wrong.

he is awful.

a corny try hard in every way. so its of no surprise he's popular with that fanbase.

his only worthwhile contribution was getting Ross on there because we got "accusations!" out of it.

I like his promos but he definitely can’t speak for long periods of time because he’s not himself

Swerve's cool (except for certain beliefs of his :mjpls: ), but I think the answer is Christian.
Christian could always talk, but I never thought he was that good in the ring.
However, Christian has been fantastic ever since he joined AEW. The matches that he's had in AEW and Impact since the pandemic have been stellar.
Wrestling sometimes gets called a young man's "sport", but Christian has aged like a good wine and he's doing the best in-ring work of his career.

What really helped is he put on weight he was like 170-180 in WWE and now he looks a solid 220-225.

He looks much more like a top guy now.

His work is the same. He's just got more time to showcase it. Only hbk was a fan of his in the E so he had an uphill battle. He's the "cool" black dude juxtaposed to the frail cacs in AEW.
