Top 25 careers, probably. But the way I see it, there are at least 5 better rappers in Wu, and 5 better rappers in QB. So you mean to tell me that in the history of rap, he makes the next 15? And he only tries ay a vicious pen about 10% of the time.

I think TI is still popular because he hails from that era of "Can't do any wrong". If he put out a dud, the new wave fan would never call him on it.

I think he is. Just off the strength of the run he had he is in mines. At his peak people really don't understand how he was rapping his ass off. Go back and listen
I always say TI had one of the smoothest flows/coolest deliverys we ever witnessed mainstream when he first came out, right up there with Snoop imo.

He in my top 25,nikkas done forgot what early TI sounded like, and I'm proud to say I was there to witness as early as Im Serious:mjcry:

I let nikkas hear it and was tellin them he had next, and they laughed, threw pebbles at me,told me put some other shyt on:childplease:

Next thing you know he drops that Never Scared remix verse, that 24's drops....all of a sudden these lil nikkas was acting like they seen a ghost and was all ears:whoo:
:salute:

All things considered, T.I. is Top 25. Yes, I could probably give you a list of 25+ rappers that are more skilled, but it's more to it than that. T.I. did what a lot of better rappers can't/couldn't do: write songs. He had the hooks, the lyrics, the flow, and the delivery over often crazy production. He wasn't just some fad rapper that fell off and became irrelevant after 5 years. He was hitting you with quality music that was relevant for 10 years+. Yes, he had a couple of duds during that time, but the good far outweighed the bad. How many rappers fell off after album #1? There's goes a quarter of some of the lists in this thread right there. How many rappers couldn't drop a quality album after the first three? Scratch off another 25% of some of these lists.T.I. wasn't in a group and has solo material. There goes about 5-10% more of these lists.

Could he rap though? T.I. has held his own and even out shined some of the greatest rappers ever. He's spit some crazy verses on songs with Nas ("Grand Finale" and "Topless"), Ice Cube ("Grand Finale"), and Jay Z ("Swagga Like Us").

On top of that, I can't think of many rappers that were as great as T.I. at making commercial music. "What You Know" was the song that took T.I. to super stardom and it wasn't even a blatant crossover attempt. That album took King to being one of the biggest rap releases of 2006. Even before "What You Know", "Bring Em Out", "You Don't Know Me", "ASAP", and "Motivation" were all great singles.
