Surf gets away with light bars sometimes but his haymakers are on a different level than Tay Rock's

he's a poor mans tsu surf who's always put in the underdog role due to the clips raping. A lot of nikkas would've have quit battling after that but he kept battling and people respect that. It made him a fan favorite.
but for him to be top tier he would have to
1-come with more complete rounds like the Ill Will battle instead of his usual 2-3 haymakers and filler
2-develop a personality- dude usually looks like hes half asleep or spends all battle looking angry. He don't even smile at HIS jokes.
3(my personal opinion)get out of dot mob- i don't see the point of being in a battle crew anyway(whats the point) but besides rex who in the dots is top tier? You can argue Daylyt but he did that on his own. You can make the argument that all top tiers that k-shine battled Rock could have battled. Its hard to be looked at as top tier when you a flunky cause in dot mob rock is a lil nikkas lil nikkas lil nikka.

Honestly,his last two battles against B-Magic( I got him losing this battle but it's one of my top 5 battles of the year) and Ill Will have started to make me a fan. You can argue it, but he needs to beat another top tier battler before I'm comfortable saying it.
