I always give props to the 1984 NBA class because you had four HOFs. One who is the best of his generation without question. Four players with a VORP over 70 which is insane. 4 players with career BPMs over 4, WTF! and all four have been to the Finals once or won one. MJ-6/6, Hakeem-2/3, Stockton 0/2, Chuck 0/1. After that, Four strong role players in Perkins, Robertson, Kersey, and Thorpe. Fleming, Cage, Willis, Humphries all had solid careers. Bowie and Turpin was a disappointment. The others were rotation guys or worse. While you can make a case Stockton metrics are much better than he was as a player, he still was a legit top 50 NBA player and one of the ATG PGs. 7 players who been to the All-Star game once.

Clearly, one of the all-time best classes ever and with 2003, the most top-heavy class in NBA history.

1996 was clearly nowhere close to 1984 in terms of insane career metrics power. Only one player over 70 VORP was the 13th overall pick, Kobe Bryant. This class had tremendous high-end quality, especially in the lottery and mid-first. Miles better than 1984 and most classes since. Six players with over 30 VORP, WOAH! 6 players with career BPMs over 2. What makes this class special is you have 13 legit good players, 5 legit HOFs, and 9 guys who've been to an All-Star game once. Really strong class outside of the centers. Camby lived up to par but many flopped but Big Z was a steal.

2003 isn't really that good of a class. It's not close to 1996 and not even in the same region as 1984. LeBron James is obviously a metrics monster. Highest VORP of all time, 2nd highest career BPM of all time, is clearly the best player of his generation. But other than that, only Wade rates near 70 VORP with a 62. Bosh and Melo had excellent careers. Obviously, Melo length is killing his metrics but we all know like Iverson, his metrics at its peak were undeniable. You got guys who graded well as they aged like David West and Kyle Korver. Darko was the obvious flop. 8 all-stars from this class.

2018 has about 15 players to really tab to see how their career turns out. It's way too early say. They aren't even at rookie extensions yet. Luka and Trae are on a great mark. In the playoffs, they are on top 10 of all-time mark. So it will be interesting to see how this class develops. Bigs always take more time so the bigs will emerge at some point.

I think more love needs to go to the 2009 draft with Curry and Harden.

Its crazy but I think its 96. They had a ton of dudes finish with top 5 MVP votes throughout their careers and a shyt ton of all stars. Then 84 those guys are legendary…the best players are all top 5 all time at their positions. Then 03 pretty much mirrors 84. Can’t decide if the 18 draft is more 03 or 96…cause it’s got a little element of both. Shii @murksiderock whats your take on these drafts bruh.

Also 09 is gonna finish with multiple HOF. Low key the 15 Draft also has a ton of all stars already too..

To early to make that assumption but they are on an excellent trajectory as of now. If SGA is probably the 3rd or 4th best player in that draft then u know it at least has potential to be a great one

:manny: So far this draft has two superstars (Luka, Trae) future all stars (Ayton, SGA, MPJ, Sexton), and a crazy amount of depth.

:hubie: Not going to lie this maybe the deepest draft class ever.

:mjcry: And we still drafted Kevin Knox

Trae isn't a superstar. He's an emerging star, but he isnt a superstar...and besides, as some have mentioned, its too soon to give these guys credit of being an All-Time class yet...

May be the deepest though, but you cany look at a draft 3 years later and crown it. Probably need a minimum of 8 years removed (most guys are who they are ever gonna be by 8 years in), and 10 years removed is more reasonable...
