Is the amc show The Killing any good?

1st season finale got a LOT of hate, and rightfully so. Like Sopranos finale level hate. After that the show kinda sputtered. It's surprising that the show is still on.

Never really liked it...it just doesn't go anywhere, and yeah the atmosphere is dreary and tense, but it doesn't have the writing to back it up, and I don't think the female lead is very good. The previews for this season were much better then 2 hours of little orphan annie in the rain...that said I watched the bulk of the series, I'll keep watching. 4

I really like it... and I've invested two seasons into the shyt so i'll never stop watching... The main criticism of the show was that EVERYTHING is exceptional and the writing was just okay...

Definitely will tune into season 3 2morrow...

No worries man,

I meant that everything (Acting, mood, camera work, setting) is pretty much perfect, but the writing got ridiculous because they stretched one murder out into 2 seasons, which was really unnecessary...

It is almost like a show that people hate to love.... It has potential to be a top 5 show though... But right now it is just the show I watch while waiting for Mad Men to start...

The writing/script is just lackluster, theres rarely good dialogue and scenes just seem to drag, no tension in the writing whatsoever, has no flow or character, very flat.

teacher storyline out for like 5-6 episodes only to end with, "oh, you mean the other 13 year old girl that came to my house around 10pm last Friday that had a San Francisco shirt, I had nothing to do with that"

Killed the show for me. After that they had the episode where Linden couldn't find her son which was a good episode, then the finale

Didn't even watch the second season.

I don't get why The Killing gets so much hate because they didn't conclude the first case at the end of the first season.....there are so many shows out there that you have to wait 5 seasons or some shyt to see some sort of resolution....I don't think it makes the show any less good because it took longer than some people wanted to figure out who killed Rosie.

Just finished season 2.

at once you finally find out who the killer is.

Show isn't perfect and I understand how people are upset, but the "drag" was worth it for me
