Is The Bill Collecta by Chamillionaire the most shameless attempt to re-create a hit single?

All Interscope artists are expected to establish a line of singles that can be followed up upon

Yep. Jimmy Iovine was supposedly notorious for being the "You need a single" guy to the point where he had no problem shelving an artist's album until the finally had a string of singles.

The hit up T-Minus and said give me that I'm On One

These are absolutely shameless. At least 2 Chainz got a decent verse off on "My Moment". :dead:

Whoa Chamillionaire is not a one hit wonder. He's a legend in Texas.
Turn it up reached into the low 40s on the Billboard hot 100 so I would say he doesn't really count as a 1 hit wonder. The fact that he basically quit rap to become a venture capitalist doesn't give him that much runway on having hits though.

Isn't that the same beat. Like a Ras Kass Jadakiss Home Sweet Home / We Gonna Make It situation?

No they just have the same producer who is T Minus.

That would be an interesting Thread too. I know a beat that got sold to 3 people recently and they all shot music videos for it.
