We were better off back then. Less black men incarcerated. More black babies born in wedlock. Closer tighter knit communities. All we suffered from was public disrespect. But in terms of a community we were stronger and better off for it. Think about how immigrants now behave. How they got their own enclaves. Their own businesses. Their own communities. That's how black people used to be. We took care of each other. Now we'd rather murder and rob one another while giving our money to other races.

The civil rights movement only made it so we don't get disrespected publicly. In turn it brought us the prison industrial complex, abortion, and the destruction of the black family.

They emotional around here. They can't even realize that the reason we were able to get civil rights was because of our cohesiveness within the black community. We even for the most part funded our own movement because we took care of one another.

If we had to do it all over again today we'd fail miserably.

There is MLK who was heavily influenced by Leo Tolstoy, a Christian anarchist. And of course that isn’t forgetting Malcom x, who burned with a fiery aggression against the purposeful stifling of black progress in America.

I live in Texas, I got some conservative folks on both sides of my family.

Yes the majority of elected republicans are on some radical shyt, but to vilify someone because they agree with some conservative values doesn’t sit right with me.
