It's a safe place for me because although my opinions don't always align with some dudes on here some of my opinions would not be suitable to post on social media without the potential for someone I know irl seeing like a coworker and them telling my job.

I hear you OP. This is kind of a safe place but it’s the internet and it’s full of bad faith actors and the occasional weirdo. It’s going to attract toxic and antagonistic people, ya know?

The best thing black men can do is unify in real life. We are such a divided people. Real life spaces to feel empowered and safe are key. That’s something I’ve always dreamed of and would be willing to organize in various areas. These places could also serve as spiritual centers, fitness centers and healing spaces. Black need healing. It’s pretty safe compared to the rest of the internet. For instance if I stay on Reddit too long I start seeing blatant racism, where as on thecoli, I don’t really see that too much.

TLR is just too negative with the topics it decides to discuss day in and day out.

Oh and I’m pretty sure this board is like 70-80% black, which is absolutely higher than the average.
