Why aren't they here to stay like say cop movies, military movies, romantic movies, western movies, crime movies etc. Maybe not the dominant genre forever but a good movie is a good movie.

He was. And I have no idea how it happened. Honestly though, I suspect it has something to do with Ryan Reynolds being attached to the project. People want to shyt on him, but there was a point where he was pretty popular.
