[10] Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. [11] Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
1.) Satan used scripture "it is written" to tempt Jesus.
2.) Jesus did NOT dispute the fact Satan has power over the kingdoms in this world.
3.) Jesus also only used scripture to resist temptation.
4.) The first sin committed was pride. When Satan looked upon himself instead of God evil filled him.
Ezekiel 28 2:19 gives a description of Satan being smarter than Daniel, being in Eden, wrapped in precious stones, being an anointed cherub, being perfect until iniquity was found in him, kicked out of Heaven and destroyed by God.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! No doubt Satan has power in earth but it is only for a time.

I disagree. I pray to give thanks to God for creating me and allowing me to exist. I pray for clarity of mind and awareness so I can recognize signs from God. I ask God to watch over people I love. I don't ask for shoes, cars or romance.

Even getting gifts from Santa is based on works (good outweighed bad). There is no work man can do to get eternal life. Jesus loves you and so do I.

I don't believe in a devil. The devil only as real as u allow "him" to be.
Far as hell? Take a good look around you.
