@JudgeJoeGorilla maybe you've explained this in other threads, but what makes you think you have what it takes to be an actor? Do you have any experience in this at all?

I took drama class in the 11th Grade, but I dropped out because I wasn't comfortable. Now, that I'm slowly getting my confidence back I think I have what it takes. Plus, in IT I have to talk to people, so acting can help me get more comfortable around people and etc. Plus, it would be a great thing to act out scenes and etc.

Damm this was rough to read. He has aspirations but doesnt have the self push or plan to initiate. Homeboy really needs a positive mentor outside of his family. The scary part is one day his parents are going to die and because he waited so long to work consistently he barely going to get any social security benefits. He still has time and he has to frt over his social fears or anxiety and hit the streets.

For a reality check he needs to go on ssa.gov and check to see how much he will get if he was to retire and disability for ssi. I doubt he has any money saved or a 401k.

You cant sit there amd wait on your parents to die thinking you going to hit the jackpot, kids do not get their parents pensions or social security income.

Alright, as you may know I want to do some interning in the entertainment industry :pachaha:. While I do IT after I finish school. Anyway, how hard is it to try to do some interning for entertainment companies? Remember, I still hope to have my supporting job while I do this. Because I want to do both IT and do work in other fields. Hey, it means more money :smugfavre: Also, if I move to Seattle I want to take some acting certification classes :obama:. Then, I drive up to Vancouver to do acting roles. Same thing for L.A. if I move there since I'm still choosing. Anyway, was it hard for you to get your foot in the door? If so, what are some tips you can give a young man like me coming in?
Acting Classes in Seattle. Fun, affordable training & instruction.

Probably depends on who you know. One of my childhood friends quit his job as a DC cop to move to LA to act. He's not famous but I've seen him on tv a few times. :yeshrug:
