It still holds up visually.
shyt...older movies look way better than curent ones. All this technology made some of these movies to look like 2 hour comercials. they're to polished.

It's the editing and pacing. Them 70's classics are bit more deliberate in their pacing and set up. Goodfellas and Casino are tighter and more kinetic due to how they are edited. Easier to get into for the "Netflix while scrolling social media" crowd.

Its not that bad, the pacing, compared to other movies from that time(the wedding part from TheDeer hunter) . I also hate movies that drag.

This whole thread is pointless, just give it a try...if you dont like it just watch something else.

If you like mafia flicks its a no brainer. If you are fan of just epic movies in general then its also a no brainer.
