Like just having strong legs and a sturdy back feels so much better than being weak and frail.

The gym is definitely a cheat code especially if you are on the other side of 35 when everyone around you is way past flabby status.
If you do it for 10 plus years it'll be way less about hoes though because the dedication you put into your diet and workout routine is not amenable to the playa lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, you'll be way more successful on a Saturday night if you were skinny or fat, but if you get deep into this shyt you may find yourself turning down dates or hanging out getting drunk just to maintain your bodyfat or because you want to hit a new PR tomorrow morning.
You'll also begin to care about different things in your mate. Dating a woman that's a great cook will knock me off my fitness game. Matter of fact, I'm best paired with a woman that does meal prep too. If not a meal prepper, one that has a cardio routine that rivals mine
