I could see that too, and it's really sad out here. I've been reading articles stating that Black men have staggering rates of depression and most nikkas don't seek help because of the stigma. Hell with the entire system working against us, I can see that. Not to mention the high unemployment rate, police, lack of positive black role models, etc. That's why I don't really look at the news, and knowing white supremacy and how they operate it's hard not to feel bad. No one has our back but our own. And most nikkas act too macho or even scared to network amongst our own. Black women, whites, white women, etc all have this brother/sisterhood mentality that I rarely see amongst black males. Maybe Im just ranting idk. Thank god we have the resiliency of our ancestors. Because if we didn't then we would've been offing ourselves long ago.
nah you not ranting I know exactly what you saying. Let me add this though that brotherhood that we need is there but too many cats taking advantage of it. Like they find out you'll do anything for ya breh and breh start taking advantage real fast when he see too much loyalty in you. You mess around and be somebody's goon. Best solution is honest business where brothers can put in legit work and show themselves loyal and trustworthy. That comes with time.

Wow breh. This city is fukking with my head too. Riding around smoking squares is about all there is to do in this hell hole. Nothing but fukkin bars everywhere. How many times can you go to the Southside before it gets old? Idk why i came back to the motherfukker but I'm back out soon

Dude...today I was at Ross Park Mall with my friend who was in town from Arizona (he moved out there like 6 years ago) he was saying he couldn't imagine living here again. There really is nothing to do here. I don't even feel lie going to bars in the southside to drink because I've been to better places in NYC...
Plus everyone smokes in those bars...after being around non-smoking bars in NYC...I can't go back to drinking in bars where I gotta inhale other people's cigarette smoke while I try to drink my beer...

This city changed for the worse in 2 years. Sure, more commercial properties and businesses, but less people...damn near no young people other than college students, and it's getting gentrified out the ass!
